I tried feedwordpress but it posted the title and only one line of content for each post. Anybody know how to fix this? thanks

I’m trying to find a plugin for wordpress that could mirror at least some of the functionality of http://prototype.nytimes.com/gst/articleSkimmer/. So it looks like either feedwordpress or wpomatic….

Unfortunately, Feedwordpress does not provide that capability, it simply replicates the post. WP-o-Matic offers some ways to customise the post before it gets added to your blog - that might work better for you. Alternatively, set the max-width or max-height css attributes of images in your posts, that will constrain them to a specific maximum and save you having to switch to a new plugin. Just add this line to the bottom of your css and see if that does the job: .post img { max-width: 500px; }
